To protect patients with neuropathy, we use the German Lukas Podologic thermo-abrasive cap.  During sanding of nails or calluses, this innovative purple cap changes color with changes in heat.   This signal reduces the risk of thermal injury.  -Very important for those with reduced or absent sensation in their feet. 

All reusable instruments are cleaned first in an ultrasonic cleaner, then packaged & autoclaved for sterility.
